Joe Mowrey
After closing my commercial printing business in 2005, I began to work for my sweetheart and wife of 21 years, Janice St. Marie, as a graphic design technician. I also enjoy carpentry and woodworking, with a particular interest in design engineering and problem solving. The bead loom and cribbage boards featured on our site are my own design creations. I'm an avid bead weaver and life-long cribbage player.

I am also a human rights and social justice activist and an advocate for Palestinian rights. For information about the ongoing injustices being commited in Palestine, please visit the Palestine Truth Coalition website of which I am the editor. I maintain a personal blog, The Plain Language Review, where you will find an archive of my commentaries and published articles.

Janice St. Marie
I have been an artist and craftsperson as long as I can remember. When I was 14, my father
took me to the flea market to sell the jewelry I created. That same year my mother enrolled
me in a summer drawing class. I'm grateful to them for encouraging me to follow my passions. This website allows me to share the results of those passions with people like you!
     I have worked professionally as a freelance graphic designer for 30 years. My business
motto is "nice clients only."

We established shasharama.com to provide an outlet for the beadware, fine art and related craft items which fill our home
to overflowing! Living in the woods outside Santa Fe with our three dogs and one cat, we work as a team, supporting each other with ideas and inspiration. Our goal is to create beautiful and distinctive gift items for you and your friends and family!
